Come enjoy a strength, flexibility, and endurance class with Amy, Deb, and Marsha. Absolutely an essential part of my health, physically and spiritually.
I have tried various yoga classes on and off all of my life. I feel like I hit the jackpot with Ashtanga in Marsha Harris’ class. After only a few months of going twice a week, I could see significant changes in my strength and flexibility (and I’m in my 50’s). I had never seen this kind of fast change with yoga before. Then I took Marsha’s 10 hour Mysore class and learned how to do this practice on my own. As I’ve continued a mix of personal practice and classes, I’ve continued to see progress in my strength, flexibility, and shape. Marsha is a very compassionate teacher and emphasizes students going at their own pace and modifying poses as needed to make the class suit them rather than trying to keep up with the class. She is constantly studying anatomy and physiology and attending workshops herself, so she brings a wealth of knowledge to the class that lets her help students with problem areas. I can’t say enough good things about Marsha and about the Ashtanga style of yoga, and I’m deeply grateful for knowing her and having this practice as a part of my life.
I feel very fortunate that I found Amy and get to practice yoga with her. She is such a wonderful teacher. I have always enjoyed doing yoga but now I feel more connected to my practice than ever. I am getting stronger both on the outside and inside. I highly recommend Namaste Yoga!
If you're a beginner, the Namaste studio is a wonderful place to start Yoga. There is no hint of competition or stress; you can really just go at your own pace. Who knew yoga could be so challenging and peaceful at the same time!!!
I have been practicing yoga at Namaste Yoga studio for several months and can say that it has been such a warm and welcoming environment! I am constantly challenged physically and strengthened mentally and spiritually. I love the teachers and look forward to my classes every week!!
